The content of the course challenged and surprised me in my beliefs. The language of the Kogi takes some getting used to at first, as it is very metaphorical. But it quickly becomes clear that the knowledge stems from lived practice - and that’s what makes it so powerful for me.
The course has inspired me in a lasting way to rethink the relationship between culture and nature and to explore how the practices of the Kogi can be applied in Western societies. In practical terms, the content offers me new perspectives in my work as a coach for personal transformation and relationships.
One of the greatest strengths of the platform, in my view, is the ease of returning to the material - and each time discovering new layers and insights.

Timeless Wisdom Academy has brought forth the essence of a tradition, unchanged and without the corruption of the modern world. I found it valuable to compare the information given by the Kogi with other indigenous traditions and teachings and more importantly with the way we live our lives in the modern world.
I think it is good to be made to remember our impact on the world at large and these teachings were profound in their simplicity. It made me conscious of every action I do in daily life.
I especially enjoyed the lesson on " Oral Health" which reminded me how important it is to be mindful of the effect of all we say and how little we generally understand the disposal of our body parts !!
This platform is a gift to indulge in these pure words of wisdom and to see how we can incorporate this knowledge into our daily lives.

When I signed-up for the academy my intention was to remember the forgotten wisdom within me about how to relate to the land and her spirits, how to communicate with the ancestors and how to honor the sacredness of life. Through the courses I felt I received direct guidance from the elders who tend to this wisdom and keep it alive. It summoned my own wisdom, like a vibrational match.
Especially the course on the "Black lines" offered me valuable insights into the energetic lines of the land and the importance of making offerings at these sacred places. It calibrated my own compass on how to relate to the land where I live.
I am truly grateful and honored to receive the Kogi's wisdom, that they so generously chose to share with us, the Younger Brothers and Sisters.

Timeless Wisdom Academy has created a space within which we may receive wisdom through the Kogi that inspires a deeper understanding of the principles of life and how to live in balance.
The high quality videos have been beautiful filmed and crafted and curated into segments with space to pause, reflect and be with each conversation, teaching or story that is shared. The courses have brought me deeper insight into many aspects of timeless wisdom, for example making confession & offerings, and understanding more about the spiritual cause of illness.
There is beautiful and deep wisdom within the courses, to listen to again and again, reflect upon and integrate into life. My experience has been that the teachings (and finding ways to integrate them into my own life) are opening my heart, bringing me into presence, attentiveness and connection with life. I am slowing down, spending more time in Nature and am more aware of the ways my thoughts, feelings, words & actions ripple out into creation.
This space is precious and rare, created with integrity and woven with beauty. I believe that through immersing oneself within these teachings, and finding ways to work with them in our own lives, lands, and culture, that more goodness can come into this world.

The Timeless Wisdom Academy is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the oldest continuously existing Indigenous cultures on Earth.
The knowledge of the Kogi elders, tested and refined over centuries, has helped me rethink my relationships, especially with Mother Earth. I was particularly inspired by the courses on Confession & Offering and the Black Lines, which encouraged me to trust my intuition more, engage in healing dialogues, and rediscover forgotten sacred places in my surroundings.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from this timeless wisdom in a way that avoids cultural appropriation and has no negative impact on the Kogi people.
This is just the beginning of a new journey. The future of humanity depends on whether majority societies can learn from Indigenous peoples and become ‘indigenous’ to Mother Earth once again. The Timeless Wisdom Academy can make an invaluable contribution to that path.

My journey with the Timeless Wisdom Academy has not only expanded my spiritual perspective on the relationship between humans and the Earth but has also enriched my professional vision as a business coach and New Work organizational developer.
The wisdom of the Kogi, especially their principles of balance, connectedness, and spiritual work. has shown me how important it is to seek harmony and sustainability in all our actions, whether in personal life, relationships, or economic collaboration. These insights have had a profound impact on my work.
Strengthening regenerative business collaboration
The Kogi teach us that every action - whether we use resources, make decisions, or lead a company - leaves an energetic trace and requires balance. I apply these principles in my work to support organizations in being economically successful without disrupting the balance between humans and nature. Focusing on regenerative approaches not only creates a more sustainable economy but also fosters deeper connections between businesses, employees, and the environment.
Integration into my work as a business coach and New Work organizational developer
The courses of the Academy have shown me that true transformation begins in our most fundamental relationships: with ourselves, with each other, and with the Earth. I use this wisdom to create spaces in my role where teams and leaders can embody mindfulness, balance, and creativity.
A particularly moving moment for me was the Confession & Offering course. There, I learned that thought hygiene and the conscious expression of emotions are not only healing, but also contribute to clearer decisions and more harmonious relationships, whether in teams, projects, or strategic business processes.
A look into the future
Through the insights into the Kogi worldview, I’ve come to understand how essential it is to think long-term and holistically. My goal is not only to advise organizations but to inspire them to shape their processes in ways that are regenerative, meaningful, and future-oriented. The principles of balance, gratitude, and respect - deepened through the Academy - flow into every collaboration I take part in.
The Timeless Wisdom Academy has strengthened my belief that it is indeed possible to unite spiritual wisdom and modern business - a connection that is urgently needed to bring about real change.
I am deeply grateful for the experiences I’ve had through the Academy and look forward to continuing to share this knowledge in both my professional and personal contexts.

Thanks to the Timeless Wisdom Academy, I was able to immerse myself in an entirely new world. Getting to know the Kogi has been very valuable for my life, and I’m inspired by how they live in perfect harmony with nature. They are a role model for me in how to bring more spirituality and gratitude into everyday life. I was especially moved by the Confession & Offering course in this regard.
I see parallels to other cultures, healing traditions, and even to Islam, and I’m fascinated by how the core messages often align - despite developing independently- which makes me believe more and more in an ultimate truth.
The Kogi embody beautiful values and live by them. Their positivity, their protection of nature, and their ever-present sense of balance are something we should all strive to emulate. They live in harmony with both the environment and other people, and they are an island of the original and the essential in our fast-paced world.
I love the richness of different cultures and look forward to learning more from the Kogi and other Indigenous peoples. It’s always a joy to watch a video filmed right in the heart of nature on the platform and learn something new.

I am deeply touched by the mission of the Kogi: to teach us, the ‘younger brothers,’ how to truly live in relationship with the Earth and with life on Earth, so that we may find our way back from today’s imbalance into a state of harmony. The Timeless Wisdom platform is rooted directly in this wish of the Kogi, an Indigenous people with perhaps the longest unbroken and living cultural tradition in the world.
Through the videos, one can deeply grasp how we, as human beings, can once again live and act as a blessing for the Earth.
It is fascinating how the greatest truths reveal themselves in the smallest of things: how we treat people, animals, and everything that belongs to the Earth - with respect and without violence - shapes our relationship to the whole. And the whole becomes tangible in the details: in how we engage with every stone, piece of wood, and every place in the landscape, all of which have their own character and essence to be honored as part of nature.
This understanding permeates all areas of life and helps us become aware once again of their interconnectedness. Mother Earth, the wholeness of nature, is present in even the smallest details of how we relate to our partners, the materials we use, and the places where we build our homes.
I hope the Timeless Wisdom Academy inspires a turning point in the lives of the younger brothers and leads us into a deeper connection with the Earth and with ourselves.

It inspired me to explore new paths of peaceful living, to take responsibility for my thoughts and decisions, and to rediscover connection with the Earth and all beings as a natural way of being.

From the very beginning I was moved by the deep truth that speaks through the Kogi. Already when reading Lucas Buchholz’s book I sensed that the knowledge they share with us is true. In physically meeting them I was especially touched by their incredible authenticity and unfiltered presence. I was initially skeptical whether this effect could be captured on film and truly conveyed but the team has clearly succeeded.
Through the interview format and the fact that the Kogi mostly speak in their own language so much more is transmitted than just words. What I really appreciate is that the platform allows me to choose the thematic focus and above all the pace at which I listen to and absorb their responses. For example in the course on Health and Illness I found one part hard to follow. So I took the opportunity to listen to it sentence by sentence several times until I truly understood it.
I’ve been working with Asian healing methods and their physio philosophical foundations for many decades and it fills me with joy to discover that the Kogi share very similar concepts of life principles. It’s as if I’m now able to understand my existing frameworks of life even better and more deeply.
For instance when the Mamo told the story that before the wind and the plants were created illness came to the Earth and that the Earth became wise by first fully engaging with the illness this resonated with me as a powerful story affirming that every human being carries innate self healing powers within.

Since I greatly value personal exchange with people and am more oriented toward analog experiences, the idea of an online academy for indigenous knowledge initially felt strange to me. But as I explored the platform, I gradually began to recognize and appreciate its strengths. It offers a wonderful opportunity to engage with the teachings of indigenous peoples without directly impacting their way of life. Surprisingly, the essence of this wisdom can be made tangible even in a digital space. Additionally, access is much easier than direct personal exchange with the tribes.
I was particularly impressed by content that shows how Western and Indigenous knowledge can be interwoven to find new paths in harmony with nature and life, a perspective that could be especially meaningful for us Europeans. I was also deeply moved and inspired by the teachings on darkness and its significance.
In my view, the Academy becomes even more valuable the more it brings together the wisdom of different indigenous traditions. Through this comparative approach, universal teachings can be conveyed in a way that makes their deepest essence both tangible and easier to understand.

I’ve been engaged with the wisdom of the Kogi since 2011. Their knowledge is so profound that it can take years to truly integrate it into one’s life. So I was curious to see what these courses might still offer me, and indeed, the wisdom has deepened even further. New aspects are explained. The Kogi are incredibly diverse - I never expected to see a trained Kogi woman who is also a dentist!
I was especially moved by the course on Illness and Confession, which showed me that health is, at its core, simple, but it does require effort. It’s becoming clearer to me that the key lies in giving gifts to nature and in confession, in speaking about one’s life and experiences.
Thank you for this incredible work, which reawakens the universal wisdom of humanity.

I have always been drawn to stories and the knowledge of indigenous people's so I was very exited and motived to watch all the videos in on the course. I did so in very few days and I was left wanting to know more.
I was inspired by what I heard to spend a lot of time in nature and I am now going out and sitting by trees or in forests far more regularly.
I was particularly interested in the video regarding confessions and giving pagamentos and although I do it in my own way I am more aware of saying thank you for the food I pick, or buy and to give something back either in a prayer or items such as flowers or sharing my coffee with a tree.
The notion of remaining connected to my roots has really been something that affected me as I am of British, Italian decent and my Son and Husband were both from and born in Ecuador. This experience has spured me on to end my current job and move to settle down in one place, purchase my own land and live closer with nature. Producing what food I can.
The experience was over all very inspiring and left me wanting to know more and to do more in my own life to heal myself and the earth around me in as many was as I currently can. Making conscious decisions about what I do and what impact it has on the world around me.
I highly recommend this experience.
