What Our Members Say

See what our members are saying about their transformative experiences with the wisdom of the Kogi elders!
I have intuitively been waiting a long time for the deep, ancient, living knowledge that is being shared here.
It is not only the words and content of the Kogi elders themselves, but the living experience that is transmitted through them, which allows me to feel, step by step, a deeper connection to our Earth and to understand her as a living planet from which I am not separate.

The concrete, ancient practical applications and the shared images help me actively connect with the web of life and to experience that I am not just a visitor to nature, but a part of it.

Seeing a wealth of everyday topics from a completely new perspective is at least as enriching as receiving the deep knowledge about the Earth’s original balance.

This supports me in unfolding living visions of how we can gradually restore the lost balance.

The courses inspired me to reflect on my connection with the natural world and offered valuable impulses that I integrate into my daily life.
Participating in the Confession & Offering course of the Timeless Wisdom Academy encouraged me to reflect deeply. I was particularly impressed by the concepts of offering and dialogue with the Earth, which are rooted in the teachings of the Kogi. The Kogi emphasize the importance of asking nature for permission and 'paying a price' in order to be in a mutual, nourishing exchange. This attitude helped me reflect on my relationship with the natural world.

The central message of the Kogi, that it’s about healing our relationships, whether with ourselves, with other people, or with non-human stakeholders, made me think deeply about our role as human beings in the world. It’s about a living narrative of cooperation, balance, and flourishing. The Kogi’s self-understanding as guardians of the heart of the Earth serves as an inspiring guiding star on my personal learning journey.

The interviews with the Kogi offer fascinating insights into their world, though some of the content felt abstract to me. I would love to see more practical examples that we can try out in everyday life to help translate these profound ideas. A co-creative exchange, for instance in peer groups, would support me in experimenting with concrete rituals of offering.

I’m grateful for the valuable insights and for having gotten to know the Kogi more closely through TWA.

The TWA uniquely manages to convey invaluable indigenous wisdom in an unfiltered and authentic way.
What is only gradually finding its way into modern science has long been second nature to the Kogi: a holistic, complex, and deeply interconnected way of thinking and understanding that creates true wisdom. In my opinion, this kind of thinking is conveyed exceptionally well through the Timeless Wisdom Academy.

For me, the carefully curated and thoughtfully selected courses offer an immense treasure of knowledge that has already had a noticeable impact on my life and my relationships. I am deeply grateful for this platform!

A true treasure vault!
There are encounters you never forget. Sometimes it’s a look, the hair, or simply someone’s presence. At my first meeting with the Kogi and Arhuaco Mamos in London, it was all of that, and so much more. Their presence touched me deeply in my heart and hasn’t let go since, like a magnet. It’s a gift to gain insight into a culture that has remained unbroken for several thousand years. That’s why the Timeless Wisdom Academy is a true treasure chest for me! Where else can I find such a wide range of in-depth topics with original statements, along with ‘cultural translation’?

I am deeply impressed by the respectful approach Lucas and his team take in handling indigenous knowledge and the integrity they show in building cultural bridges. Chapeau!

It feels good to know that in today’s turbulent times, there are still peoples like the Kogi, who remain in close dialogue with Mother Earth and tend to her balance. I hope the Timeless Wisdom Academy inspires more and more people to contribute to that balance, wherever they are.

I’ve felt much more connected and centered ever since.
I truly soaked in the wisdom of the Kogi elders.

I deeply appreciate the Timeless Wisdom Academy for sharing this knowledge with great respect and mindfulness toward indigenous cultures, and for presenting the Kogi elders in such an authentic way.

There is so much to discover on the platform, and every course has fascinated me and enriched my life.

I was especially captivated by the course on Confession & Offering, which I watched first. The simple yet powerful ritual has become a valuable part of my everyday life and serves as an anchor. I’ve felt much more connected and centered ever since.

One aspect that especially moved me was the idea that negative thoughts and emotions are not a burden to Mother Earth, but that - through the ritual, they are actually transformed back into pure energy that becomes available to all.

This shifted my perspective on spirituality and greatly deepened my sense of connection with nature, giving me valuable new insights.

Wisdom that is not just meant to be understood but lived.

The teachings of the Kogi touched me deeply and have profoundly shifted my view of life. I find their approach to healing especially inspiring, that illness is not merely suffering, but a path to inner wisdom. Rather than focusing solely on treatment, the Kogi emphasize prevention and a deeper understanding of the root causes.

What fascinates me most about the Kogi is their deep connection to all that is, especially to nature. I’ve never experienced this lived sense of unity with all beings as authentically in any other tradition. The course Confession & Offering also inspired me to consciously shape my relationship with Mother Earth and enter into a living exchange with her.

One of the greatest inspirations for me was learning about the training of the Kogi Mamos, who spend their first nine or even eighteen years in darkness, gaining profound knowledge during that time. This idea captivated me from the beginning and ultimately led me to do a five-day darkness retreat myself. It was a deeply moving and insightful experience, a true gift for which I am very grateful.

What impresses me again and again is the simplicity of these teachings, which are nevertheless so powerful. Our minds often overlook what is simple, and therefore essential, but in my heart, I feel a deep resonance that keeps guiding me back to the right path.

The courses of the Timeless Wisdom Academy have sharpened my perception of life and opened new ways for me to walk through life with greater awareness, connection, and compassion.

It is so precious to me to be able to learn from the Sakas and Mamos of the Kogi
It wasn’t from the Kogi that I first heard the idea that the Earth is a living organism. But through the course Confession and Offering, experiencing how directly they relate to the aliveness of Mother Earth stirred something within me. The fact that they give something in return for everything they take from the Earth changed something in me. It made me experience the Earth as personal. Like people who give and give and receive nothing in return, the Earth becomes sick.

I’ve long been searching for ways to live with the Earth without exploiting her and to live in a way that creates peace for all beings. While the Kogi may not provide concrete answers for how this can be done in Europe, the impulses they offer awaken something within me that has long been dormant. The theme of giving and receiving not only between myself and the people I know but also between myself and nature has become more present for me. It allows me to experience love and connectedness with all of life.

I was especially moved by the powerful presence of elder Judith Nuevita in the course Ancestral Knowledge of Oral Health. To see and hear how naturally alive she is in her wisdom reminded me of the strength of the feminine and brought me a deep sense of relaxation.

Deep Clarity
Some of the Kogi's wisdom was already familiar to me through a trip to Switzerland, Lucas Buchholz’s book, and various recordings on the internet. But the online platform of the Timeless Wisdom Academy offers a wonderful breadth and great depth across different areas of knowledge.

What I especially appreciated is that the perspectives of the Sakas, the female wisdom keepers, are increasingly included, bringing in topics related to women. It touched me to see the Kogi in their natural environment during the conversations and to feel their connection to that place and from there to Mother Earth.

The course on Offering and Balance held special relevance for me. It brought up many reflections about taking and giving and encouraged me to give something back to the Earth by sharing my feelings and thoughts in a place in nature. This has become a ritual I cherish.

The simplicity and deep clarity of the Kogi continue to fascinate me time and again. I sincerely thank the TWA team for their heartfelt work, for their thoughtful translations that make the teachings applicable in our Western world, and the Kogi for sharing this treasure of wisdom with us through the platform.

The deeply rooted knowledge of life principles speaks to the primal human within us
Having lived in the Andes of South America for seven years and worked as a nurse, the Kogi's view of humanity feels very close to me. Regular walks in nature have now become a part of my life.

The Timeless Wisdom online courses have deepened my connection to Mother Earth. Especially the course on Confession and Offering helped me realize that the Earth also needs us as a conscious counterpart for exchange. I find this comforting, hope-giving, and deeply connecting.

The natural way in which the Kogi live this presence and connection with Mother Earth expanded my perception:

For example, when I entrusted something that was weighing on me to Mother Earth during a confession. A few days later, I started to doubt whether I had really let it go - then suddenly, a feeling of warm trust came over me and said: “...You did let it go...” This feeling is something I can now return to again and again.

In this way, I am learning to share my everyday worries and my grief for the world with Mother Earth, to set clearer priorities, and to move through daily life more harmoniously.

The deeply rooted knowledge of life principles that the Kogi have guarded for thousands of years speaks to the primal human within us. I am deeply grateful to TWA for the opportunity to reconnect with that experience.

My experience with the Timeless Wisdom Academy
Wisdom, in and of itself, holds immense value, especially when it challenges the patterns we are accustomed to. Trusting the process of receiving this wisdom is essential for those who seek it. The message of the Kogi is more than just words or the content built upon them. It is a radically different philosophy and perception of the world, one that detaches us from what is familiar and invites us on a journey to a parallel reality governed by different laws.

It is invaluable to trust that these teachings can be understood without translating them into the framework of Western civilization. To trust that, as seekers, we are ready because we have found them. To believe that it is possible to encounter different visions of reality without the need for a translator.

These courses sparked a deep curiosity within me. For the first time, I truly wish to explore an indigenous world based on feeling, intuition, and perception beyond the senses, what civilization calls synchronicity, in place of reason, rationality, and chronology. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to immerse myself in this alternative and coherent world. I remain open to more and will continue to observe the evolution of this space with curiosity and attentiveness.

TWA has deepened my understanding of illness and the deceased and allows me to feel a stronger connection to nature
The Timeless Wisdom Academy has deeply moved me. I had already encountered indigenous knowledge through my interest in native peoples and especially through my own yoga practice. But the depth of the Kogi perspective touched me in a very unique way.

The course The Spiritual Origin of Illness in particular moved me profoundly. The Kogi’s view on illness and health opened up entirely new perspectives not only for myself but also in conversations with my partner. This was especially true when it came to their understanding of the deceased. It helped me to gain a new outlook on a sudden death in my family that still accompanies me to this day.

The course Confession and Offering provided a beautiful tool to actively contribute to balance. I have already put the practice into action gathering leaves to carry my thoughts and offering them to nature and I can feel how it connects me in a healing way. To nature, to the universe, or whatever one may choose to call it. It helps me sense that I am part of something greater.

For me, TWA is much more than a place of learning. It is an invitation to see the world with new eyes and to explore my own relationship to nature, life and healing on a deeper level.

Great experience to be able to experience the valuable wisdom of the Kogi elders so directly
The Timeless Wisdom Academy offers a unique opportunity to directly experience the wisdom of the Kogi elders. I was especially impressed by how close you can feel to the Kogi, even through a screen. The atmosphere of their surroundings and the energy of the elders are beautifully conveyed through the excellent video quality, thoughtful presentation, and engaging interview content.

The courses provide deep insights into the wisdom of the Kogi. Since it can sometimes be challenging to grasp their knowledge directly and holistically from a Western worldview, the Academy offers helpful explanations and contextual inputs along the way to better understand what’s being shared and apply it in practice.

The course on illness gave me entirely new perspectives on health and sickness and provided insights into the influence that our relationship with nature and with one another can have.

Overall, the Academy offers the chance for profound insights - even personal transformation - for those who are willing to engage with this ancient yet new way of thinking and perceiving.

You can choose between monthly or yearly billing and cancel at any time. This plan is ideal if you’re just getting to know the platform. To start exploring, you can even access a full course for free — you just need to sign up and create a free account.

Wisdom Plan: Full access to our entire course library, expert insights, and all bonus materials. You can pay either yearly upfront or monthly over a full year. Please note: monthly payments are part of a 12 month commitment.

Wisdom Plan Plus:  Everything in the Wisdom Plan, plus live calls with indigenous elders and guest experts (coming soon) and discounts on selected retreats and events. Also available with monthly payments, and also requires a yearly commitment.

Those who wish to contribute more deeply can join the Guardian Plan, which includes everything above and supports Indigenous led initiatives at the highest level. More details are available on the dedicated Guardian page.

Yes. You are warmly invited to explore one of our online courses for free. This allows you to get a feel for the platform, the quality of the teachings, and the experience we offer, without any financial commitment. Many people find that after engaging with even a single course, they feel more clarity about whether this path resonates with them.

You can start with the free course and later choose any plan that fits your needs. And if you begin with one plan and feel called to go deeper, you can always upgrade or switch your payment schedule—monthly or yearly—whenever you’re ready.

Yes, you can cancel any plan at any time. Your access will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.

However, the Essentials Plan is the only one with monthly billing and cancellation flexibility. You can start and stop monthly as needed.

The Wisdom and Wisdom Plus plans can be paid monthly, but they require a full year subscription commitment. This structure reflects the time and presence needed to truly absorb Indigenous wisdom, which isn’t suited to short term consumption.

You can always upgrade:

  • From Essentials to Wisdom or Wisdom Plus

  • From Wisdom to Wisdom Plus

  • From any plan to the Guardian Plan

  • From monthly to yearly billing, or from yearly to yearly renewal

With this we ensure depth, integrity, and sustainability for both your learning and the communities we work with.

Yes. The platform is designed to be simple and intuitive, even for those who aren’t experienced with technology. You’ll find clear guidance to access your courses, watch videos, and navigate the learning space. We also offer ongoing support. If you need help, we’re just an email away.

If you begin with a basic plan and later want to explore more of the Academy, you can easily upgrade or adjust your subscription model at any time.

The Wisdom and Wisdom Plus plans are designed for deep, sustained learning. Indigenous teachings are not something to quickly consume. They ask for presence, integration, and patience. A full year offers the necessary time for the teachings to unfold, take root, and meaningfully affect your life.

This commitment also supports long term collaboration with the Kogi and other communities, ensuring they receive sustained support, not just short term interest.

Our subscription directly contributes to meaningful projects initiated by the Kogi, such as land buyback efforts, sacred site preservation, and cultural continuity for younger generations.

We believe in reciprocity. You are not just receiving wisdom, you are participating in a living exchange. This includes financial support, visibility, and trust. When you join the Academy, you are also standing alongside the Kogi in their efforts to protect the Earth and their way of life.

You can choose the level of support that feels right to you and adjust or increase your contribution over time by changing plans or payment structures.

This is not just an online learning site. It is a space shaped by indigenous ways of learning. In many indigenous cultures, especially among the Kogi, learning happens through sitting in presence and listening, not once, but again and again, with patience and attention. We’ve designed this platform to reflect that rhythm. Rather than rushing through content, you are invited to revisit teachings, absorb them slowly, and let them deepen over time.

The platform is currently available in English and German. All course videos include subtitles in both languages, and written materials are available in both versions as well. We are working to expand language access in the future.

Yes. While the teachings are rooted in ancient knowledge, they are surprisingly practical and applicable to modern life. Many participants report clearer thinking, reduced stress, improved relationships, and a deeper sense of purpose.

You don’t need to change your life overnight. These teachings offer gentle shifts that unfold over time, often in subtle but lasting ways.

Yes. We offer access to one full course for free. Simply sign up for a free account and start exploring. You’ll get a clear sense of the platform’s tone, structure, and values before making a decision.

Not at all. The platform is designed to support a calm, thoughtful approach to learning. You can move at your own pace, take breaks when needed, and revisit content as often as you like. Many people find the rhythm of the Academy to be grounding and soothing, even when exploring deep topics.

We also recommend starting with the Essentials Plan or the free course if you’d like a softer entry point.

All our courses are self paced. Whether you watch a short video once a week or dive in for a longer session on weekends, the content meets you where you are. Even slow, intentional learning can lead to profound shifts.

Yes. The platform is designed to grow with you. You can:

  • Upgrade from one plan to another (e.g., from Essentials to Wisdom Plus)

  • Switch from monthly to yearly payments to benefit from reduced rates

We believe that learning and growth should be supported, not restricted. That’s why we’ve created a system that allows you to adapt your experience as your needs evolve.

Your subscription directly funds land regeneration, cultural preservation, and youth empowerment programs co designed with the Kogi and other wisdom holders. A portion of every membership goes to Sacred Future, our nonprofit partner, to support Indigenous led projects with integrity and long term vision.
